Easy Gluten-Free and Dairy-free Oat Chocolate Chip Cookies

These gluten-free, dairy-free chocolate chip oat cookies are easy to make and have the perfect texture! Perfect for a wholesome snack or dessert.

- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 2 tbsp avocado oil
- 3/4 cup coconut sugar
- 1 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon optional (but do it!)
- 1/8 tsp cardamom optional
- 3/4 cup old fashioned rolled oats
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 pinch sea salt
- 3/4 cup chocolate chips
Combine the egg, vanilla, avocado oil and coconut sugar until well combined in a mixing bowl.
Add the almond flour, cinnamon (optional), cardamom (optional), oats, baking powder, sea salt and chocolate chips to the wet mixture. Mix until combined.
Add the chocolate chips to the mixture and combine.
Using an ice cream scooper or spoon, scoop the dough out and form into cookie shapes on a parchment lined baking sheet. Press down slightly to flatten the cookie as they do not spread a-lot.
Bake at 350 degrees for 14 minutes until slightly golden. Allow to cool and ENJOY!
Store these cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for 2-3 days.
Freeze for up to 2 months.
